I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Kanga, a three-year-old Great Pyrenees who quite literally weathered the storm. She came to us out of the Texas floods as her home was lost in the flooding. Kanga is the definition of gentle and kind, with a little touch of shyness that just makes her sweeter. She loves people, especially those past the screeching age, and she’s perfectly polite with dogs and cats alike. Her favorite pastime is leaning on you like she’s part of your emotional-support system and insisting that petting her is your full-time job. If it isn't, she'll make sure it is. She has impeccable manners and unlike your college boyfriend, she won't trash your house and she and she’ll make a perfect companion for someone who appreciates quiet loyalty, soft fur, and good taste in company. A fenced yard is required for her, and she would prefer that you have a nice, fluffy bed for her to catch a sunbeam nap in. This is an excellent dog for those who appreciate the breed but who need one without ambition.
