Banjo is a 3-year-old, 86-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix who is, in short, a lovable giant dork.
Exhibit A: He adores playing with other dogs, but insists on growling while he does it. Why? No clue. He just does.
Exhibit B: Splashing around in water? Amazing. Walking across wet grass in the rain? Absolutely not. Banjo’s delicate paws cannot possibly endure such hardship.
Exhibit C: He has not grasped the physics of “only one object can occupy a space at a time.” Your lap counts as open real estate, and he will happily collapse into it for a nap.
Banjo has good house manners, is good with dogs, indifferent to cats, and not the least bit hyper. He’s powerful and athletic, but not in a “bounce off the walls” way. He does, however, require a fenced yard (don’t even think about an apartment), and kids 12+ will be just fine for him. Basically, Banjo is equal parts majestic dog and oversized goofball.
