Built like a linebacker with the soul of a poet, Marisol is a striking 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix who carries her 80 pounds of love with quiet grace… and just a touch of stubborn flair. She’s the kind of dog who will follow you to the ends of the earth, unless there's a set of indoor stairs in the way. Outdoor stairs? Fine. Indoor stairs? A work in progress. She’s convinced those particular stairs are a trap, but with patience and lots of treats, she is learning.
Quirks? She’s got ‘em. And they’re all part of her charm!
- Cats beware – Marisol has a bit of a chase-and-hunt instinct when it comes to felines. A cat-free home is best unless your cats are secretly ninjas.
-The Kennel Conundrum – Confinement is her personal nightmare. She'll do everything she can to Houdini her way out of a crate, even if it means risking injury. She needs a free-range, open-space kind of life.
- Food Motivated – This girl lives for mealtime and treats. You’ve never seen anyone happier to hear a kibble hit a bowl.
- Canine Rock Star – Marisol loves other dogs. Even that super-annoying Goldendoodle? Yep. She handles all kinds of personalities with steady calm. She’s transitioned beautifully into a multi-dog home and could absolutely thrive with a dog sibling or two.
