Poppy is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees and quite frankly, she’s stunning. Think runway model looks wrapped in a cloud of white floof. People stop and stare because she’s that gorgeous.
But Poppy isn’t just a pretty face. She loves people of all kinds and greets everyone like they’re already her best friend. She’s playful, well-mannered, and genuinely delightful to have around. Cats? No problem. She coexists with them like a seasoned pro. Dogs, however, are another story. Poppy will tolerate their existence out in the world, but she has zero interest in sharing her home with one. She firmly believes she’s more than enough dog for any household and she’s right.
Like most Pyrs, Poppy needs a securely fenced yard. It’s less a “suggestion” and more a “requirement,” because a free-roaming Pyr is basically a neighborhood tour guide who didn’t ask your permission first.
If you’ve been waiting for a drop-dead gorgeous, people-loving, playful, well-mannered Pyr who wants all your love (and doesn’t want to share it), Poppy is the dog of your dreams.
