This walking cloud in Lamar. He is a sweet, stunning Pyr looking for a home to call his own.
Lamar was surrendered to BFDR for being a fence jumper at his former home. That said, he will need a solid 6' fence or higher in his future home, and cannot be left unattended, or he will likely be a man on the run. He can be a bit of a nervous-nelly... loud noises scare him (think thunder and fireworks) and he can get a bit anxious in new situations and around new people. We think a home with a confident dog to hold his paw and someone who is home more often than not would be ideal.
Lamar is around 4 years old and weighs around 65 pounds. So, while on the petite side for a Pyr, we want him to go to a breed-experienced home. No first-time adopters for this guy.
