Molly is a 10-year-old German Shepherd who spent the first nine years of her life in absolute squalor. No vet care, no comfort, no kindness - just neglect. When she finally came to us a year ago, she was in rough shape. Severe hip dysplasia required both hips to be repaired, she had untreated arthritis, and she was battling heartworms and skin infections.
Fast forward to today: Molly has proven herself tougher than steel and sweeter than sugar. She has taken every hurdle in stride and she will be ready soon for her forever home with people that value her.
Molly is good with all people and dogs, but we’ll stop you right here: cats are a no. She’s gentle, steady, and deeply appreciative of the soft life she’s been given a taste of, including beds, treats, love, and care.
At 10 years old, she’s not looking to climb mountains or run marathons, but she does want companionship, security, and a family that values the dignity she deserves in her golden years.
If you’ve ever wanted a loyal German Shepherd with the wisdom of age and the heart of a survivor, Molly is your girl.
